Dear sisters and brothers of the Ecumenical Catholic Communion:

The Leadership Council of the ECC has based this year's Synod theme from Acts: "Serving God's people from the Church at Home to the Ends of the Earth."

The Synod will be held from Tuesday, October 23, 2012 through Thursday, October 25 at the Double Tree Hotel,
100 The City Drive, Orange, CA.
Monday [October 22] and Friday [October 26] are set aside for travel, hotel registration and departure. We will have a light reception on Monday, October 22 [canapés and drinks] to welcome each other. Guests wishing alcoholic beverages are free to order and pay for them at the bar throughout the Synod.

For those staying at the DoubleTree, the link for hotel registration and payment is listed below. Hotel registration covers your room and breakfast (2 people). You may also pay by check directly to the hotel. Please mark "ECC Synod" on the envelope. We do, of course, encourage electronic processing. A separate fee will be charged for meals, snacks and administrative costs.

  • For those wishing to extend their stay to visit Disneyland, etc., the hotel will hold the room rate at the Synod price for two days before and after the Synod.
  • For those of our Communion, attending and non-attending, we would appreciate any contribution you can make to defray Synod expenses. To make a donation: after you fill out the registration form click "Submit". You will be taken to another page where you can pay for registration or make a donation using PayPal.
